This is an idea that I’ve always lived by so when I saw it in a longer form somewhere (I can’t recall where or by whom or what the longer form was), I knew it belonged on the sign. My boss’s boss argued that some things are very important for very short periods of time, which is certainly valid. The owner of the building informed me at about this time that the townsfolk had taken notice of the sign and enjoyed it. Of course, they can’t be bothered to come in and tell me directly so either they’re afraid of our building or the owner is holding really uninteresting conversations with himself.
